The evangelical congregations have throughout the war been involved in supporting evangelical work in war zones and at the front, both in the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine. Recently, one of the field chaplains visited Kherson, whose population has suffered enormously during the war. After the deliveries of stoves, generators and food, preaching and the distribution of God’s Word have been given a significant attention. This has paved the way for revival.

In recent years, nearly 100 new evangelical congregations and groups have been planted in Ukraine, especially in the eastern and southern parts of the country, where the war has been most intense. A significant contribution to the spiritual successes has been made by several of the chaplains. Alongside evangelical services, tent meetings, and pastoral care, they have also been able to distribute bread from bakeries and the Word of God from churches in both Ukrainian and Russian languages.

Our partners such as Patmos, Barnens Oas and evangelical churches in Ukraine, Finland, Sweden, the USA, and Spain have in recent months released financial resources for the purchase of ambulances, support for aid shipments, and distribution of God’s word, which is spread in various parts of the crisis areas in Ukraine.
