My younger brother Mike crossed Kyiv tonight driving from Dnipro to Rivne: the city is dark and cold. Ukraine blackouts: top emergency essentials to donate

🪖Russia has intensified combined missile and drone strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, damaging power plants and grids and forcing emergency blackouts.

International supporters can help Ukrainians endure blackouts by donating essential energy and survival equipment. Practical, targeted aid directly helps the most vulnerable people cope with darkness, cold, and disrupted services❄️

Donations focus on blackout-essential items that provide electricity, light, heat, and the ability to cook:
🔹Portable power stations (e.g., EcoFlow, Bluetti, Anker) that are safe for indoor use and can run lights, fridges, and small appliances.
🔹Power banks for charging phones, flashlights, and laptops during sudden outages.
🔹Battery-powered lights such as flashlights, headlamps, and lanterns, which are safer than candles.
🔹Heating and cooking solutions, including electric heating blankets, chemical heat packs, and portable camping stoves.

These items are purchased or donated through trusted organizations and individuals in nearby counties to distribute them to private homes of people in need,  most affected by blackouts❤️‍🩹
