Greetings from our new home in Vodice!

As we step into 2025, it’s hard to believe that two months have already passed. Time flies, doesn’t it? We are incredibly grateful to God for the blessing of our new home, and we feel His presence in every corner of it. As a family, including my father, we have worked hard over these past two months, and we’re still working on decorating and renovating our new home.

As a family, we are doing well—though we are a bit tired from moving and settling into our new home, we are deeply enjoying the fruits of our labor. Nada and I continue to pray for our children, their work in the Lord, their futures, and their godly partners. Truly, we feel blessed for the health and presence of God in our lives.

Ministry updates

Despite all the changes in our personal life, we continue to be active in ministry. Our efforts to revitalise the church in Šibenik are ongoing, and we’re seeing some positive steps forward. I continue to organize two leadership teams—one for Croatia as part of our broader mission and one focused on Dalmatia.

Alongside that, I’m involved in planning a mission school, “Vamos,” in partnership with the Finnish and Swedish missions, aimed at mobilizing young people for missions in the Balkans. The school is set to launch in February 2026 in Šibenik.

We are excited to share that Nada has taken on the challenge of restarting the women’s ministry in our church, which has been dormant for some time. Her vision is to encourage teamwork and involvement from all women in the church, especially to reach new women for Christ.

Additionally, we are thrilled to see our church taking a significant step in faith. We are in the process of renting a larger and more visible space for our meetings. Currently, we meet in a small, tucked-away space, but the new location will be 250 m² and is on the main road between Šibenik and Vodice. It’s a prime location, and we’re excited about the possibilities! However, the rent is quite a bit higher than what we currently pay, and we’re seeking God’s provision and partners who can help cover the difference. We are asking for prayers as we trust God to provide the funds we need.

Building project

Please join us in prayer for our church’s new space. We need provision for the higher rent and little financial help to furnish the entire space. We are trusting God for partners who can help us meet this need with one time gift or partner with us for the next few years

Church growth

Pray with us that the Spirit of God will move among believers and that we will see a new wave of revival and growth of the church in Croatia.

Mission school

Pray for the success of the “Vamos” mission school and for the upcoming gathering of young people in June, that many lives would be touched and transformed.

Our business and mission

Pray for our businesses: apartments and taxi. That God will bless them and that they will become sufficient income for us.

A Growing team

On a positive note, our Dalmatia team has grown with the addition of a new pastor Vjeko from Split. This has brought joy to our hearts, and we’re seeing growth in our discussions and ministry ideas. We are continually praying for ways to engage young people in the ministry and help our church become more effective in reaching new people for Christ.

Mission School and Upcoming Events

In addition to everything else, I’ve had the idea to start a mission school in Croatia to mobilize young people for missions. This vision was recently echoed by the Finnish mission, who already have a “Vamos” school in Spain, and we are now in the process of planning to bring it to the Balkans. We hope to launch in February 2026. In June, we’re also looking forward to a summer camp “SRCOKRET” for young people from across the Balkans, which is expected to draw over 1000 attendees. We hope to present the “Vamos” school at this event and inspire more young people to join us in mission work.

If you want to support the Mission School Vamos at Balkan, please pray for it. It is perhaps the most important thing you can do. But don´t forget the local pastors and ministers, or the missionaries who have arrived to serve from Ukraine, Sweden, Finland and other countries. They are doing a great job for the kingdom of the Lord. If He is challenging you to support the work with finances, you can send your donation to Jesus4Eurasia, IBAN: SE20 8000 0803 2500 4002 4234 / BIC/SWIFT: SWEDSESS. Mark your donation with “Balkan”. We will then deliver it to the most needed purpose.
